Technical Panel Explores “Carbon Utilization: Unveiling Opportunities and Challenges”

In a testament to collaborative efforts, Kharazmi University and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) recently convened a specialized session under the theme "Carbon Utilization: Opportunities and Challenges." The event, orchestrated by the Center for International Studies (CIS), took place on March 6, 2024, spanning from 9:00 to 11:00, in a virtual setting.
Dr. Mahajeri, Head of the Center for International Studies, set the stage with a warm welcome to attendees, emphasizing the significance of the occasion. Following this, Dr. Hadipour, an associate professor of Kharazmi University's Faculty of Biological Sciences, delved into the intricacies of " Utilizing Mathematical Models for Carbon Footprint Calculation and Management," capturing the audience's attention with insightful perspectives. Engagement remained high as participants posed questions to Dr. Hadipour, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas and knowledge.
The session continued with Dr. Faradiella Mohd Kusin, an associate professor from Universiti Putra's Forestry and Environmental Sciences Department, shedding light on "Carbon Sequestration and Utilization: An Option for Addressing Climate Issues." Her presentation resonated deeply with attendees, sparking meaningful discussions and reflections.
As the session drew to a close, Dr. Moslem Ghasemi, Head of Kharazmi University's International Cooperation and Collaborations Office, expressed gratitude to all participants and speakers for their contributions, underscoring the commitment to academic excellence and international cooperation.
